The Government have now advised that any person developing a new cough or temperature should self isolate for 7 days and use the NHS 111 website for further advice. We have a daily update on latest advice from Public Health England which we continue to follow carefully. Parents can find this advice on https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/guidance-to-educational-settings-about-covid-19. Please do let us know if you have returned from any of the affected countries/ areas. As always we are happy to answer any queries you may have. We regularly teach the children how to wash their hands and how coughs and sneezes spread germs. All classes have had lessons in this again within the last few weeks and we are reminding them daily about the importance of hand washing.
A helpline to answer questions about COVID-19 related to education is available to Staff, parents and young people who can contact the helpline as follows: Phone: 0800 046 8687. Email: DfE.email@example.com Opening hours: 8am to 6pm (Monday to Friday) No school should close in response to a suspected (or confirmed) COVID-19 case unless advised to do so by Public Health England.’
